from Sandwich, NH. Colonel from August 10, 1861 to April 26, 1862. Discharged and on Other Service June 26, 1862. Transfered to the 12th NHV mid-1862.
 
Lt. Colonel Jackson, John L.
from Portsmouth, NH. Lt. Colonel from August 1861 to June 1862. Promoted to Colonel June 1862. Wounded in Action at Battery Wagner on July 18, 1863. Died April 10, 1890 in Boston, Mass.
 
Major Bedel, John
from Indian Stream, NH. Major from August 1861 to June 1862. Promoted to Lt. Colonel June 1862. Wounded in Action July 10, 1863. Captured at Battery Wagner July 18, 1863 and promoted to Colonel while as POW in April 1864. Promoted to Brig. General in 1865 and on Other Service. Died Feb. 26, 1875 in Bath, NH.

Captain from Co. E. Major from July 1863 to April 1864. Promoted to Lt. Colonel in April 1864. Killed in Action at Drewey's Bluff, VA on August 16, 1864.
