3d New Hampshire Uniform Guidelines

Company C of the 3d New Hampshire Volunteers was made up entirely of Irish-Americans. They mostly enlisted and were recruited from Manchester, NH. Co. C was first commanded by Capt. Michael T. Donahoe of Manchester who later became the Colonel of the 10th NHV in August 1862. Co. C was involved in almost every skirmish, battle, engagement and campaign with the 3d NHV. Being of Irish decent and birth this company always was in the fight and showed pride in their homeland.
